| The New Year |
Jan 2006 |
| 2006 has arrived and apart from wondering where
all the flying cars and hover boards are (as promised to us
in episodes of Tomorrows World in the 1980's), we are very excited
about the prospects of the new year. Already we have several
exciting projects in the pipe line which include a visit to
the United States for the South By South West music industry
festival in Austin, Texas. We look forward to seeing how the
new year pans out. |
| Teenage Kicks Live DVD |
Nov 2005 |
| 6n the 22nd of October 2005 Cambridge was hosting
a live event at the prestigious Corn Exchange. The concert hosted
7 of Cambridge's finest rock bands all performing in memory
of a young musician named Tom Jones who was sadly killed in
an accident last year. The Big Head Media team filmed the event
which had over 900 attendees and created a DVD of the event
and the live acts performing. We finally completed it at the
end of November and are very pleased to be associated with the
event. All the proceeds from the concert and DVD sales went
to charity, the concert was a great success and it looks like
we've been roped in for next year. |
| Team Building Event for 3 Mobile Network |
Oct 2005 |
| We had a brilliant time if some what challenging,
facilitating 160 +people in a massive team building exercise.
We came up with the idea where we would break the group down
in to smaller teams of 30-35 people, some were making a music
video, some were creating original music and vocals and 60 were
painting a huge 4m x 3m mural. The artwork worked very well.
Each person had to paint 5 illustrations of whatever they liked
as long as they kept in a colour scheme. We did not tell the
team what they would be painting and with a bit of preparation
we ended up with the picture featured on the right of the page.
Many thanks to all involved particularly Dill, Ian Griffith
and Owen Morris. |
