Corporate Video Production

BHM takes great pride in all video work we undertake and our corporate/business videos are no exception. We work to a range of budgets and by working closely with you, we can tailor your video to to suit your exact requirements. Whether you are promoting a product/company or creating a team building or training video, our skills in interview techniques and narrative video, combined with graphics and excellent photography will guarantee you a more than satisfactory finished product.

Music Video Production

Big Head Media has been producing music videos since its inception, we feel very passionate about music and therefore passionate about the work involved. We pride ourselves in our dedicated approach and creative flair for producing music videos and pop promo's. Our portfolio is as diverse musically as it is colourful. Whatever your flavour of music, whatever your style, we will create a film to be proud of.

Documentary Filming

After spending the best part of a year working on a 'making of' documentary for a low budget feature, 'Charlies Party', Big Head Media has developed a passion for documentaries. We can produce original, investigative journalistic documentaries or work to your own specifications. Each project we undertake is different so we treat every project as an entirely new concept and can work along side you to give you exactly what you want.

Live Music Promotion

If you've ever tried getting gigs in other towns or set up your own tour then you'll know how difficuilt it can be to persuade promoters to take a chance on you. If you're a talented band with a bit of a following and are looking to play Cambridge, then we can help you out. We'll put you on with a well known Cambridge act that we like. That way you get the benefit of an away gig with a larger audience than you might get normally. In return we would ask that you let the band you played with in Cambridge support you in your local town at a gig organised by us or you or another concenting promoter.

Camera and Editing Facilities

In-House Editing
Our editing suite in Willingham outside Cambridge harnesses the power of the Apple PowerMac G4 and the increasingly popular Final Cut Pro editing system. There is up to 300Gb of hard disk storage which makes on-line editing a snip. With other software titles such as DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and Media Cleaner, the system is ideal for small to medium digital editing needs.

Mobile Editing
A new addition to Big Head Media's editing capability is this mobile editing station. With the latest 15inch G4 PowerBook boasting a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 60GB hard drive, it provides a state of the art mobile editing station for location editing. Again, it comes loaded with Final Cut Pro 4, DVD Studio Pro 2 and the same software titles as the editing suite above.

Camera Operator Hire
We have available for hire, a trained Camera Operator with the Sony DSR PD150 DVCam. This camera provides excellent digital video and sound recording.

Team Building Events
Our skills in media arts have given us the ability to create unique, interesting and relevant team building exercises. Many of the jobs involved in media are very team orientated and as such can be adapted into a fun as well as interesting team building event. Some of our activities include creating original music, making pop videos, short films, documentary and art/design illustration activities. These can be incorporated in to one large event or can be individual events. Our creative team can also adapt or create an activity to suit our client.
